The Release Date For The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

(Pocket-lint) – CD Projekt Red has finally set a release date for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s next-generation remaster. Beginning on December 14, 2022, it will be accessible on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and in its improved form on the PC.

The remastered version of the game will be available as a free download update for anyone who already owns it on Xbox One, PS4, or PC. All of the DLC, including the significant expansions Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, will also be included. A physical edition will also be made available in the future.

Ray tracing capabilities, quicker load times, and a range of mods that will be included in the game are other improvements. There will also be new content that draws inspiration from the Netflix series The Witcher.

Owners of the Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch won’t miss out on any new content either. The Witcher 3’s last-generation versions will also receive updates that include content drawn from the Netflix series as well as new features and enhancements. However, that won’t be released on the same day as the next-generation version mentioned above. Next week, a special REDstreams event will be broadcast live on Twitch, introducing some of the new features and content.
