With two weeks to go until the launch of Diablo IV, Blizzard has released a story-focuSsed trailer for the game.
The video sets the stage for the central conflict in Diablo IV. Here we see glimpses of both the demon Lilith and the angel Inarius, who call for war in the world of Sanctuary.
The latest Diablo game takes the series back to its darker roots. Players take on the role of one of five different classes – barbarian, sorceress, rogue, necromancer and druid – and take up the fight against the evil that is ravaging the land.
- The first impression of Diablo IV is very positive. The feeling of slaughtering monsters with stylish skills is at least as good as it was in Diablo III, and it feels good to get a Diablo game that goes back more to the pitch-dark tone of its origins. We’ve never been very engaged with the storytelling, but this game actually seems to be going in some interesting new directions!
Diablo IV launches on June 6, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox
