D-Pad Studio says in a press release that the critically acclaimed Owlboy will be released on console February 13, 2018. The adventure will be found on both PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Initially, it is a digital variant from the console’s online bouts, but a physical copy should also be released in 2018.
At the same time, the studio tells that the PC version has been translated into 10 new languages: Japanese, Chinese, Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Polish.
A Long journey
It took some time for D-Pad Studio to finish Owlboy. The Platformer adventure has been one of the most talked-about and eye-catching games here in the country ever since the developers first started showing it in 2010. Then they had already worked on the game for a few years themselves.
Last autumn – just one year ago today, November 1 – the game was finally released to PC.
PS: Owlboy is out for PC and Mac.
