How do you go about getting something new and fresh into a series of anything in the gaming entertainment industry? Do you add new features that spice up the game play and make the specific title best and or most realistic yet? Do you add more game modes to supply the players with untold new possibilities and endless hours of fun? How do you do that year after year after year for almost two decades? Does the FIFA franchise have the ultimate recipe for building the perfect game while adding just enough content to draw in the fans but not so much that they have nothing new to put in the next iteration? It appears they do. FIFAa 19 certainly bring new things to the table, with some massive and exiting additions to the series.
EA Sports has confirmed that the game will be released ll around the world on September 28, which is the same date as with previous iterations. There will be three different editions – the Standard edition, Champions edition and Ultimate edition, each with its own set of inclusions and unlocks provided. You can get the game three days early by pre-ordering which also includes its own set of bonuses. The game releases at a very smart time each year right before the festive period when gamers have allot of time on their hands.
FIFA 19 will be available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
The Journey has reached its third and final installment. To those who are newcomers to the franchise, the Journey is basically what you would call the “story mode” where you play as Alex Hunter in his travels and challenges to become one of the finest footballers on the planet. The Journey has been met with massive acclaim as it adds a very unique single-player experience to the game. FIFA has secured the rights to the Champions league and some other leagues which will also massively impact the game with new modes, branding and advertisements all themed after the glorious Champions league competition. This also will naturally have an effect on the Journey and it seems securing the ultimate prize in club cup European football is the aim this time around.
The game now boasts a new selection of ridiculously random modes to try out with the kick off game type. There will now be “house rules” where you can set certain criteria like only allowing goals scored by hears or from outside the six-yard box. This will add a lot of fun to the experience and will spice up those home competitions that always get a bit stale after the fourth or fitfh game. There will also be a battle royale mode, what exactly that means we will have to wait and see.
The game also includes a big list of game-play changes and updates that will surely make playing a lot better and more intuitive. These include revamped ball touches, better handling based on the weather type, and more along those lines. There is also a big host of changes to the Ultimate Team game type that will surely make it a more balanced and fair experience. These include pack odds so that you dont have to guess what kind of card you’ll likely get.
It looks to be a great year for the franchise with a massive inclusion of changes, fixes ,updates and additions. There is definitely a lot to look forward to with this one and I for one cant wait to get my hands on it and start building my dream teams again!
