Top 10 PC Games we look forward to in 2018

So! 2018 is coming in fast! And it looks to be a damn good year in terms of game releases! We’ve taken a look at what to expect the next year and we’re not disappointed! In fact we look very much forward to it, and we would like to share with you our top picks of the most exciting new releases!

 

Number 1: Anthem (Action)

 

Anthem is an upcoming online-only multiplayer action role-playing video game being developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts. It is slated for a 2018 release on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Players will assume the role of a Freelancer, one of a group of bold and courageous people who leave their civilization to explore a lush and dangerous landscape. And judging from the videos we’ve seen its an open world insane folley, with jetpacks, changing environments and a lot of challenges! If the game lives up to the videos we’re all in!

 

Number 2: Kingdom Come: Deliverance (RPG)

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a story-driven open-world RPG that immerses you in an epic adventure in the Holy Roman Empire. If you’ve played Risen 3 the combat system should be to your liking. This is a strategic system and no hack and slashing! Check out the video of the Alpha footage! The graphics doesn’t disappoint either!

Number 3: Sea of Thieves (Action-Adventure)

Sea of Thieves is a pirate-themed action-adventure cooperative multiplayer game played from a first-person perspective. The game features cross-platform play between Windows-based personal computers and Xbox One video game consoles. A group of players travel and explore an open world via a pirate ship and assume different roles such as steering, hoisting sails, navigation, firing cannons and other tasks. Players will embarks on quests, collect loot and engage in combat with other players. Sea of Thieves is a shared world game, which means groups of players will encounter each other regularly throughout their adventures. the game has a cartoonish art style and exaggerated physics that allow players to be shot out of ship cannons. It looks very unique and interesting!

 

Number 4: Metro: Exodus (FPS)

Metro Exodus is a first-person shooter game with survival horror and stealth elements. Set in the post-apocalyptic wasteland of the former Russian Federation, the player must cope with the new hazards and engage in combat against mutated creatures as well as hostile humans. The player wields an arsenal of hand-made weaponry which can be customized through scavenging materials and a crafting system. The game features a mixture of linear levels and sandbox environments. It also includes a dynamic weather system, a day-night cycle and environments that change along with the seasons as the story progresses (it will be set over the course of one whole in-game year)

Number 5: Fortnite (Survival)

Fortnite is a co-op sandbox survival video game developed by People Can Fly and Epic Games, the latter also publishing the game. The game was released as a paid early access title for Microsoft Windows, macOS, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on July 25, 2017, with a full free-to-play release expected in 2018. It features cross-platform play between the PlayStation 4 and PC versions. A standalone mode, Fortnite Battle Royale, based on the battle royale genre, was released for Windows, macOS, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in September 2017.

 

Number 6: Conan Exiles (Online Survival)

Conan Exiles is an upcoming open world survival video game developed and published by Funcom for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is set in the world of Conan the Barbarian, with the custom playable character being rescued by Conan, beginning their journey. It was originally expected to be released during mid-2016, however, it was delayed. An official release date is still yet to be announced. An early access version of the game was released for Windows in January 2017, on for Xbox One in August 2017, with a full release planned for 2018.

 

Number 7: Surviving Mars ( Sandbox)

Surviving Mars is an upcoming simulation video game being developed by Haemimont Games and published by Paradox Interactive. It is set for release on Windows, OS X, Linux, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2018.The player serves as an overseer who must colonize Mars and ensure the survival of the colonists

Number 8: The Guild (Sim)

The Guild 3 is a fascinating trade and life simulation that takes place during the late Middle Ages. Step into the shoes of a citizen, acquire businesses and mansions, produce goods and trade them, start intrigues in politics and society, love, hate, bribe, fight and live through good and bad times!

 

Number 9: Biomutant (Open World Action RPG)

Biomutant is an action role-playing video game developed by Swedish developer Experiment 101 and published by THQ Nordic. It is scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2018. Its looks very unique and interesting!

Number 10: Jurassic World Evolution (Sim)

Jurassic World Evolution is an upcoming business simulation video game developed and published by Frontier Developments. The game is based on the 2015 film Jurassic World, and its release is scheduled to coincide with the film’s sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, in 2018.
